The Interview

In this video Dr. Lisa, principal chiropractor at Errol Street Chiropractic, is interviewing Kate, associate chiropractor at the same practice. We wanted Kate to share her passion and story around why she became a chiropractor and why she loves it so much.

Here are some the questions Lisa asks:

1. When did you find out you wanted to be a chiropractor?

Low and behold, it was a chiropractor’s explanation of spinal health and the importance of that in relation to overall health that resonated with Kate.

2. What do you love about your job?

Kate shares with us her desire to help people’s spinal health, to move and feel better, but to also encourage them to take responsibility for their health and take better care of themselves in all aspects of life.

3. Anything about your job that breaks your heart?

I love the answer Kate gives us here.

As with any profession, there is something that starts that interest to pursue a career in a particular field. With healthcare, it is obvious that people get into this field because they want to help people feel better.

Time to Re-focus:

Asking these questions of Kate is wonderful, to not only hear her story, but to remind us about why we got into the profession or career we are currently in. Hearing someone else’s story and seeing the passion in them, truly helps us to why we do what we do.

The story:

Kate tells of a beautiful story a chiropractor told her in the USA when she was attending a seminar. It was a story about a father that was getting care. He would attend his visits with his young daughter and the lovely part of the story is what the child said to the chiropractor about how her Dad was a better person since his treatment. Kate tells the story well – please listen to the end, otherwise you will miss this.

We hope you enjoy listening to Dr. Lisa interviewing Kate, chiropractor at Errol Street Chiropractic and if you have any questions for her, please feel free to contact our office.
